Even if you don’t smoke pot, if Snoop Dogg offered you some herb, you’d say yes. But knowing Snoop, you’d have to know he smokes the strong stuff, and Ed Sheeran learned the hard way.
In an unexpected trio, he tells the story of how he, Snoop, and Russell Crowe all smoked together. Snoop and Russell met up with him, his wife Cherry, and her mom in Melbourne after one of his shows. During an interview on Conan O’Brien’s podcast, Ed said,
I don’t really smoke at all. I was in the dressing room and they’re just [smoking] blunt for blunt for blunt for blunt, and I’m like, I guess at some point during the night I have to, just to be like, ‘I smoked with Snoop Dogg.’
He decided to hop in on the smoke sesh. Feeling good, he took a hit. Then another. And another. Until he got to the point where it all hit him at once and realized he couldn’t even see.
Yep, Ed got so high he temporarily lost his vision.
