One of hip-hop’s icons is coming to Knoxville!
Lil Wayne has announced additional dates for his “Welcome To Tha Carter Tour” which he went on during the spring of this year, but looks like he’s back at it because he surprised fans by adding three cities this November, including Knoxville on Thursday 11/16 at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Pre-sale begins 10 a.m. on Tuesday using the password: TUNECHILIVE. Otherwise, tickets to the public officially go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. All tickets can be bought through Ticketmaster.
As someone who’s seen Lil Wayne more times than I can count throughout his career, he’s definitely one you want to buy tickets for. He’ll perform songs spanning back to his mixtapes, various albums, and all of those fan favorites you love to hear on the radio.
The Young Money founder is also getting ready to perform at the MTV VMAs on Tuesday, which will mark his first time hitting the stage at the award show in a decade!
