Spotify Testing a New Story Feature Like Snapchat
When it comes to streaming music, do we really need a story feature? Not really, but it seems we’re getting one anyway. A Spotify spokesperson said.
“At Spotify, we routinely conduct a number of tests in an effort to improve our user experience,” the spokesperson said. “Some of those tests end up paving the path for our broader user experience and others serve only as an important learning. We have no further news to share on future plans at this time.”
I’m not sure how this will help their user experience, but people were quick to chime in!

The story feature is now on Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Linkedin, and now Spotify. Do what you will with this information, but I’ll just continue to use Spotify for it’s purpose, to listen to music.
