Seeing the success of Amazon Prime and Walmart’s paid membership program, Target has followed suit.

Target announced the launch of a new paid membership program called Target Circle 360. It launches April 7th and will offer unlimited same-day delivery to shoppers which will be delivered in an hour or less, with no delivery fee on orders $35 or up. You’ll also have access to free 2-day shipping. The retailer is running a special for those who sign up between April 7 and May 18 can get the service for only $49 for the first year. Normal membership to Target Circle 360 will cost $99/year.

Anyone who has the Target Circle credit card will also get to reap the benefits and automatically get the membership at the $49/yr rate, shall they choose to sign up. In addition, they’ll receive a 5% discount on all purchases, both in-store and online; plus extra time on returns, and free two-day shipping.

With the convenience of free shipping and the added perks of discounts and exclusive offers, the membership fee is likely to pay for itself for many customers who shop at Target regularly. Target Circle 360 is designed to enhance the shopping experience for loyal customers and provide them with added value and savings on their purchases.

If you already have the free Target Circle app, where you can clip coupons and receive discounts, beginning April 7th, the deals will be automatically applied at checkout, meaning you won’t have to search for them yourself. Members will still get personalized deals so don’t worry if you’re not ready to splurge on a membership just yet.

According to Target, since launching Target Circle in 2019, they have helped 100 million customers save money each year. People who have the app spend five times more than people who don’t.
