DJ Jazzy Jeff sat down with the FAQ Podcast hosted by Fuzzy and Quincy Harris and talked about the infamous Oscars slap. Jazz said he believes Will was triggered from writing his memoir. He said Will unearthed everything from his past in his memoir one of which was not protecting his mother when she was abused by his father, he also said he has always been surprised how Will has held it together all these years.
He described the moment as a very bad lack in judgement, and added Will is somebody who cliff dove in Jamaica and couldn’t swim. Whatever he is afraid of he runs to.
