According to Deadline, it looks like Spongebob Square Pants’ best friend, Patrick is going to have an opportunity to sink or swim on his own, as they announced that Nickelodeon is finalizing a deal for The Patrick Star Show. The show will see Patrick hosting a talk show, said to be similar to the Larry Sanders Show and will focus on Patrick and his family, a mostly whole new crop of voice actors, from the original show and members of the original Spongebob cast making appearances. They also added that they’ve heard voiceover sessions for the 13 episode show has already started.
