While most states in the US are urging everyone to stay at home with various executive orders being put in place, Dana White insists that the UFC show will continue to go on. While talking to TMZ Sports, White says the company will be back up and running with UFC 249 taking place from an undisclosed location, on April 18th, and says the organization is working on buying a private island where they will run weekly fights, flying in fighters from all over the world on private planes.
He says that everyone from the fighters, the athletic commission and commentators will be tested before, during and after the fights. Also, that they will be flying fighters in from all over the world, which should be interesting. I guess if they’re on a private island they don’t have to adhere to any guidelines, but I don’t know how this will play out.
