If you have an Amazon Alexa, today might be the best.day.ever, you can officially use Samuel L. Jackson’s voice to enhance your experience. A couple notes before you run to your echo; he doesn’t replace the current voice, he just enhances it, you’ll have to specifically ask Alexa to ask Samuel L. Jackson things (instead of just talking to him), and it will cost you $1 (plus tax) to activate it.
To start, you have to ask Alexa to introduce you to Samuel L. Jackson, then you’ll listen to an intro and be told that it will cost you $1 (but you knew that cause I already told you), finally you decide whether you want Samuel L. to use explicit language or not (if you say not, save your $1). Then you’re good to go!
After it’s setup, you can ask him questions about himself, or you can ask Alexa to ask him some day to day things like what you see below:
- Alexa, ask Samuel for the weather.
- Alexa, ask Samuel to play some music.
- Alexa, ask Samuel to set a 10 minute pizza timer.
- Alexa, ask Samuel how tall is Mt Fuji?
- Alexa, ask Samuel what’s 99 divided by 12?
- Alexa, ask Samuel for the news.
