If you are willing to open up your heart and home to a new member of the family, now would be the perfect time to adopt!
Sevier Animal Care Center in Sevierville announced they are waiving adoption fees “until further notice” because they are “extremely over capacity” and need to get animals into good homes. The shelter made a post on their Facebook page that due to the amount of animals they currently have they had to temporarily shut down intake. All of their dog and puppy kennels are full so as a result had to make pop-up crates and have animals housed in visitor rooms, and even outdoors.
Anyone who is interested in adopting or fostering, is encouraged to visit Sevier Animal Care Center from 1p-5p (closed Wednesday & Sunday’s). If adoption isn’t an option you can help the shelter out by donating or by purchasing something on their Amazon and/or Chewy wish list which will get sent directly to them.
