Nicki Minaj Hits No. 1 On Gospel Chart With “Blessings”
Nicki Minaj topped another genre chart. The New York City-bred Barbz frontwoman reached the top of the Hot Gospel Songs. “Blessings” reached number one on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. The “Pink Friday 2” song features gospel vocalist Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Nicki Minaj and Tasha Cobbs Leonard led Hot Gospel Songs with “I’m Getting Ready” in 2017. This partnership also reached number two on the Gospel Airplay chart. Nicki Minaj’s third Billboard 200 number-one album, Pink Friday 2, debuted with 228,000 sales in the first week. Also featured on the album are J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobang, Drake, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future.
