The next time you’re in Gatlinburg, you may want to stop at one of the best seafood restaurants in America!
Yelp released the “Top 100 Seafood Spots” for 2024 and Chesapeake’s in Gatlinburg landed at #77 on the list. In fact, it was the only Tennessee restaurant to make the list.
Chesapeake’s has a 4.5 star rating on Yelp and reviewers rave about the excellent food, good drinks, great service, and overall ambiance of the restaurant. Eating in a tourist area is always going to be a bit pricier so it’s good to know you’re getting what you pay for at Chesapeake’s.
Chesapeake’s is located at 437 Parkway in Gatlinburg, near Ripley’s Aquarium.
If you don’t want to drive all the way to Gatlinburg, they also have two other locations in Downtown Knoxville (on Locust St.) and West Knox (on Parkside Dr.). You can see the menus here.
It’s no surprise the majority of restaurants to make Yelp’s list were in coastal states like Virginia, Florida, and California but the south still got a lot of love. Texas had six restaurants make the list while North and South Carolina each had seven.
