Bardi fans… our girl Cardi B is back with her first song of the year and it’s a freestyle over the 1999 Missy Elliot track “She’s a B***h.”
This is Cardi B’s first song since releasing “Bongos” with Megan Thee Stallion in September last year.
In the new song, Cardi starts out by saying “let me put some gas in this year.” She addresses her haters and doubters in the song and shows off her bodacious curves in various outfits in the video.
Hopefully the release of “Like What” means this song will be the kickoff to her new album to which she has been hesitant to drop. While Cardi has released songs and been featured on plenty of others, she hasn’t come out with an album since her debut, Invasion of Privacy, in 2018.
Probably what’s most surprising is that at the end of the video it says it’s directed by on-again, off-again hubby, Offset. He recently, took to his Instagram stories to tell Cardi to “stop being scary” and drop the new album. Hopefully, she takes his advice.
