Azealia Banks Drags ‘Nasty’ Beyoncé ‘Cabaret’ Renaissance Tour
Azealia Banks is known mostly for criticizing Hollywood and the music industry rather than her non-existent music career. On Saturday, the Harlemite took to Instagram to criticize Zayn Malik, Skai Jackson, and Julia Fox. Tensions rose when a fan asked Banks about Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, saying, “How was the tour?” “I stayed home. I decided I didn’t want to see Giselle and Blue Ivy’s cabaret. I wasn’t leaving the comfort of my mansion to hear her sing Mary J blige covers and literally watch the same show I can watch on Instagram,” she said, suggesting Bey’s tour wasn’t worth the money. Banks continued her rant by calling Beyoncé by her middle name Giselle alleging that she “did nasty stuff to other black female artists but didn’t confront Adele for her Lemonade stunt at the Grammys.” Azealia also criticized Beyoncé for “gay baiting,” she called the megastar “jealous” of Chloe Bailey, and said she was wrong for having Kevin JZ Prodigy dance from the pit rather than the stage.
