Eminem’s ‘8 Mile’ Costume Donated To Film Academy Collection
The costume Eminem wore as “B-Rabbit,” in the 2002 film ‘8 Mile,’ has been donated to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ expansive collection in Los Angeles. “Lose Yourself” from that film became the first hip-hop song to win an Oscar for best original song. The blue velvet suit worn by Mike Myers as Austin Powers in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and the pinstripe suit worn by Raul Julia as Gomez Addams in “Addams Family Values” (1993), the sequel to “The Addams Family,” were also donated to the collection.
