Smoke from over 400 Canadian wildfires is currently wreaking havoc in the U.S. Which has many wanting to put masks on again. So which is best? One expert says, “Really, N95s are the only masks which are really proven to be effective.” But they add that masks aren’t even the best option. They say what’s best is sealed buildings with filtered HVAC systems. They add that older adults and people with lung diseases should stay indoors. Do you keep masks on hand for emergencies?
