It’s been almost 26 years since Chris Tucker gained notoriety playing Smokey in the classic film Friday, he went on to star in movies like the Rush Hour series, and The Fifth Element to name a few. Tucker was a guest on Shannon Sharpe’s ‘Club Shay Shay’ and while talking about the iconic role, he said that the film had a $3 million budget, had to be shot in 20 days, and that he was only paid about $20,000 for playing the role. Tucker said that he didn’t care about how much money he made, but it was more about the opportunity, which clearly paid off. Still wild to think about though.
