If you were looking forward to Amazon Prime day, next month, I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news for you. Amazon released a statement today that the day of discounts which normally takes place in mid-August will be pushed back, likely to October. Amazon is one of the few companies that has been thriving since the start of the pandemic, as their stock jumped 73% in 2020. They didn’t mention whether the surge in orders through the website are the reason for the delay, but I’d assume that it plays a part.
