McDonald’s Giving free “Thank You Meals” to First Responders, Medical Professionals

McDonald’s announced earlier today that they will be giving free “thank you meals” to the people on the front-lines fighting the coronavirus; healthcare professionals, police officers, firefighters and paramedics. Starting tomorrow through May 5th. If you fall into that category, all you have to do is show your work badge at the restaurant to get the free meals.

Breakfast options (all of which come with any sized fountain drink, hot coffee or tea and a hashbrown):

  • Egg McMuffin
  • Chicken McGriddles
  • Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit

Lunch/dinner options: (all of which come with any sized fountain drink, hot coffee or tea and small fries):

  • Double Cheeseburger
  • 6-Piece Chicken McNuggets
  • Filet-O-Fish

The meals will be served in a Happy Mean Box, in hopes of bringing a smile along with the meal! I think this is dope, and appreciate McDonald’s doing this. If I were one of these people I’d get at least one free meal a day and save a few bucks. You can read McDonald’s official release here.
