Throughout TV and movie history, you’ve likely fantasized about living in some of the homes you’ve seen and how cool would it be. But do you have those same feelings for horror movie homes?

For the first time in 45 years, the house from the original Poltergeist movie is on sale, ghosts not included… allegedly.

Nestled in Simi Valley, California, the 4-bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom house is described as “charming” and ready to “welcome a new family without the ghostly antics,” according to the Zillow listing. The home was built in 1979 and costs a scary $1.17 million.

This is the home where the majority of the first film was filmed. If you’re unfamiliar, this is the same movie where cast members were mysteriously dying; later known as the “Poltergeist Curse.” Mental Floss says four cast members died during filming, or shortly afterwards. Including Heather O’Rourke, who played the little girl. She died at just 12-years-old. The creepiness behind the scenes continued during the making of the second and third movies. Whether it was all a coincidence, or some actual paranormal action transferred to real life, is unknown, but its weird nonetheless.

The house is appealing with the large swimming pool. But not appealing enough I’d risk living in a horror house.
