It may be the first day of Spring but Summer is just around the corner and to prepare for pool season, the City of Knoxville is looking to hire 70 lifeguards for their two outdoor pools.
This is a great opportunity for college students to make some extra money while they’re off of school or anyone who just wants an excuse to spend all summer at the pool… and get paid for it.
Per WVLT, the Parks and Recs Deputy Director says that they need about 70 lifeguards to “adequately” cover shifts throughout the season at both pools. Lifeguards will be working at Ed Cothren and Inskip pools.
The job comes with perks such as flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.
