As if we haven’t enough shortages over the last few years, we now have to deal with another one, and it will likely affect you, especially if you’re a clean freak.
On Monday, Clorox announced that they were the victim of a cyber attack last month, which took a major hit on their IT infrastructure. While the attack was discovered on August 14th, they are now starting to feel the effects of it.
The company says they’ve contained the attack and production has already resumed at most of its facilities. However, it’s unknown when operations will fully be back to normal.
With that said, don’t be surprised if you go to the store to get your favorite cleaning product and there’s barely any left on the shelf. Something else to note is that Clorox Company also owns other brands such as Burt’s Bees, Hidden Valley, Pine-Sol, and Glad so this might impact those products as well; although the company did not mention their other brands.
What product shortage has affected you the most? Because I’ve been struggling without my Sriracha all year, and the generic brands just don’t cut it. The reasoning for this started with supply chain issues and now it’s been coupled with dry conditions in Mexico; making it difficult to produce chilies.
