Lizzo May Face Trial Over Dancers’ Sexual Harassment Allegations
Her former dancers have filed a lawsuit against Lizzo, and she may now go to trial. The Grammy-winning singer denies accusations of fostering a hostile work environment after a lawsuit was filed for sexual harassment, fat-shaming, and more. An attorney for the three dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, plans to take Lizzo to trial. More witnesses have come forward since news of the lawsuit. Neama Rahmani, president of West Coast Employment Lawyers, wants to take the case to trial since Lizzo is denying the allegations. The dancers accused Lizzo of pressuring them to touch a nude performer in Amsterdam. They also accused her dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, of inappropriate behavior and discussing personal matters.
