Brittney Griner Signs With Phoenix Mercury
Brittney Griner is officially back in the WNBA. The 32-year-old star signed a one-year deal to return to the Phoenix Mercury in 2023. Griner, of course, did not play in 2022 because she spent 10 months detained in Russia – finally returning to the U.S. in a prisoner swap in December. In 2021, she averaged 20.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks for the Mercury. What should the WNBA do to mark Griner’s return next season?
