Salt-N-Pepa are finally getting their flowers, and I am here for it! The trailblazing hip hop trio, who was the first female act to win a GRAMMY in the rap category will be honored once again during the ceremony. The GRAMMYs announced the recipients of their Lifetime Achievement Awards, who include Salt-N-Pepa, Selena, and Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five to name a few.

I am intrigued to see the biopic when it is released next month, and will be watching the GRAMMY’s to see these ladies be honored.
