California is notorious for coming up with odd laws for it’s residents. I’ve listed a few of those below.

You may only throw a Frisbee at the beach in Los Angeles with the lifeguard’s permission

Nobody is allowed to ride a bicycle in a swimming pool

You are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows.

If you think those are weird now residents of California may soon have to pay a tax on text messages. State regulators have been ginning up a scheme to charge a fee for text messaging on mobile phones to help support programs that make phone service accessible to the poor.

It looks like California is taking everyone back to the 90’s where they again have to pay for text messages.  Remember that? It was terrible..

So, what’s next for California? Are they going to start taxing gravity or the air you breathe? With all the crazy laws they already have in place, who knows.. I’m just grateful I don’t live there..
