A Nashville woman is being charged with theft after stealing candles from Bath & Body Works.
In June, the suspect and her friend entered the store and stole 63 3-wick candles. Police said the total amount they stole was worth $1,691.85. If you shop at Bath & Body Works you know those 3-wick candles retail around $24-27. You also know, they are HEAVY. So I’m curious how they were able to get away with that many of them.
The woman was arrested last Friday and charged with theft of over $1,000.
Couldn’t she wait for one of their big sales to get the candles at a cheaper price? Does her home smell that bad that she needed all those candles? Or was she planning on re-selling them? Now instead of having the aroma of gardenia she has to deal with the scent of a fresh jail cell.
