Now would be a good time to start going through your closet and purging.
Target has announced their first ever “Denim Take Back Event.” If you have jeans that have gone unworn, or maybe don’t fit you anymore, you can take them to Target and save money on a new pair, just in time for back to school or the Fall season.
The event will be held from August 4-10th, and customers can drop off their jeans at the store, and receive a 20% off coupon, which will be applied via Target Circle. The coupon can be redeemed on any of Target’s denim apparel.
This is how the Take Back Event works:
- Bring up to 5 denim pieces, of any brand, in any condition to a Target store
- Drop them in the marked boxes
- Receive 20% off coupon to be used on any Target brand denim or national brands like Levi’s
- Redeem your offer between August 4-10th.
Customers who have the Target credit card will get even more savings with an additional 5% off on top of the 20%.
Target’s Senior VP of Merchandising says this is not only beneficial for the customer but this event will help “…reduce waste and keep used denim out of landfills.”
