Woman Sues Disney for $50K Due to Injuries from Waterslide ‘Wedgie’
A woman is suing Walt Disney World after a 30th birthday celebration at Typhoon Lagoon resulted in severe injuries after going down the Humunga Kowabunga waterslide. The lawsuit states, “The slide caused [her] clothing to be painfully forced between her legs and for water to be violently forced inside her. She experienced immediate and severe pain internally and, as she stood up, blood began rushing from between her legs.” The woman sustained vaginal lacerations and internal organ damage from the slide, which is a five-story drop that can cause people to go nearly 40 mph.
