Lil Wayne is getting ready to release the ‘Carter VI’, but with no official release date, he’s giving us a little something to hold us over until then.
Weezy will be dropping Tha Fix Before Tha VI album on Friday, 9/29. He confirmed the news on Wednesday, his 41st birthday.
The announcement also came with the tracklist which includes 10 songs and three features, plus his most recent release “Kat Food.”

Wayne first teased ‘Carter VI’ over a year ago. Back in February he released “Kant Nobody” featuring the late DMX. It’s likely the song will appear on the new album.
