Jimmy Fallon Accused Of Toxic Work Environment

In a recent Rolling Stone article, Jimmy Fallon has been accused of acting erratically and creating a hostile work atmosphere on The Tonight Show behind the scenes. Two current and 14 former workers were questioned by the newspaper about their experiences working with the show. They said that Jimmy created the “ugly environment behind the scenes” and that over the course of nine years, the show’s nine successive showrunners only served to intensify it. They allege that there were “good Jimmy days” and “bad Jimmy days,” whereby workers would worry about Jimmy’s “outbursts” and demeaning conduct. According to reports, several workers who voiced their concerns to HR experienced reprisal, including being terminated. One former employee added, “Mentally, I was in the lowest place of my life. I didn’t want to live anymore. I thought about taking my own life all the time.” Another continued, “It was like, if Jimmy is in a bad mood, everyone’s day is f**ked. People wouldn’t joke around in the office, and they wouldn’t stand around and talk to each other. It was very much like, focus on whatever it is that you have to do because Jimmy’s in a bad mood, and if he sees that, he might fly off.”
