Tennessee had a monstrous blowout against Virginia this past weekend winning 49-13, but they also had a monstrous attendance.
The UT game managed to break Nissan Stadium’s attendance for a sporting event with 69,507 people in the crowd, and as you can see orange was donned all throughout.
If you’re wondering what the record-breaker is for attendance in general, that was set this past July at the Ed Sheeran concert with 73,000 people. According to WATE, there were only 857 more people at night 1 of the Taylor Swift concert compared to the Tennessee game. I guess they can’t win ’em all 😉
The Vols’ next game is this Saturday, the 9th at home against Austin Peay. Kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
