DC Studios Announces Revamped DCU Movie Slate
The DC Universe is getting an overhaul, and fans got their first glimpse of the new master plan on Tuesday. James Gunn and Peter Safran, who are heading up the reboot, unveiled the first chapter on Tuesday, titled ‘Gods and Monsters’. Here’s what’s in store:
A new Superman movie, Superman Legacy
A Batman and Robin movie titled The Brave And The Bold movies starring Swamp Thing, Supergirl, and The Authority.
TV shows based on Green Lantern, Booster Gold, and Amanda Waller, a prequel series set in Wonder Woman’s homeland of Themyscira, and the animated series Creature Commandoes.
‘Gods and Monsters’ will make its debut with Superman Legacy in summer 2025.
In the meantime, we’re still getting a few more DCU movies this year: Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, as well as Joker: Folie A Deux.
