Free Legal Advice Clinic Coming To Knoxville In February | Mean Jean

The Faith and Justice Legal Advice Clinic is having a free legal advice clinic at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 9919 Kingston Pike, on February 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. One of the goals of the Faith and Justice Alliance alliance is to make it comfortable for people to speak with a lawyer. This is why legal advising clinics are held in houses of religion.

Volunteer lawyers and law students are on hand to provide advice on a wide range of legal matters during the clinic, including family law, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy, criminal defense, consumer protection, contract disputes, child support, and personal injury, among others. The clinic is open to the public, and masks are necessary.
