Netflix Calls ‘Squid Game’ Its Biggest Show Ever

Netflix is giving users insight into details about their company.  Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos released some data about the streaming app.

They shared stats on the show’s most popular ever series, Bridgerton. They say that Season 1 had 82 million views and 625 million hours watched. They also revealed that the new Korean show Squid Game is about to blow that out of the water.  So far, the show has been out less than two weeks, but it is already tracking to be its biggest show ever. So far, it’s ranking as the number one show on the platform in several countries.

What is Squid Game? It’s a South Korean fictional drama in which contestants who are deeply in debt play children’s games in order to win a ton of cash. The downside is that losers will be killed.

WARNING: The series is very violent, but the writing and the direction of the series is really really good. Peep the trailer below

If you like Squid Game, I just recently finished another show thats kinda similar and it’s also amazing. It’s called Alice in Borderland

It’s about an aimless gamer and his two friends who find themselves in a parallel Tokyo, where they’re forced to compete in a series of sadistic games to survive. It’s kinda similar to Squid Game, but trust me it’s a completely different series equally as good.

WARNING: It’s also very violent, You can peep the trailer below
