The Emmy Nominations were announced earlier this week and The Weeknd is nominated three times for his performance at the Super Bowl! The three categories he’s nominated in are; Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special, Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Special, Variety Special (Live). There was definitely a mixed reaction to the performance, so it’ll be interesting to see if he wins any awards.
