Update 3/15/2021:

It’s official, Drake makes history again with the new Billboard chart, Drizzy is the first artist in the history of the Hot 100 chart to debut in the top three spots on the chart. “What’s Next” debuts at #1, followed by “Wants and Needs” (ft. Lil Baby) at #2 and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” (ft. Rick Ross) debuts at #3, while he is the first artist to debut three songs in the top 3 on the chart, he isn’t the first artist to hold down the top three spots; The Beatles and Ariana Grande are the others.

Drake released his Scary Hours 2 mixtape last Friday and it on track to make history by being the first artist ever to debut at #1 and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “What’s Next” is on track to debut at #1 while the Lil Baby featured “Wants and Needs” is on track to debut at #2. While Drake could be making history, this isn’t the first time he held the top two spots on the chart in 2018 he did the same (just not in a debut) with “Nice For What” and “Nonstop.”

Like him or love him, Drake makes hits. We’ll have to wait and see if he does take the top two spots, and where the Rick Ross featured “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” lands on the chart.
