MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos has donated $4.2 billion to charities in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and D.C. as part of donating her fortune after her divorce. There were multiple charities in East Tennessee that benefitted, like the United Way of Greater Knoxville, who announced that Scott donated $10 million to the organization, other local organization include; The YWCA of Knoxville, Second Harvest Food Bank, the Tennessee Valley and Goodwill Industries Knoxville.
