Aunt Dolly is back at it again, making headlines. She recently did an interview with The Big Issue to promote her new Christmas album, Holly Dolly Christmas and talked about crushing on Johnny Cash, writing hits, “I Will Always Love You” and “Jolene” being on the same album to name a few things that came up, but she made an interesting comment about wanting Beyoncé to remake her classic “Jolene” Peep what she said below.

Jolene has been recorded more than any other song that I have ever written. It has been recorded worldwide over 400 times in lots of different languages, by lots of different bands. The White Stripes did a wonderful job of it, and many other people. But nobody’s ever had a really big hit record on it. I’ve always hoped somebody might do someday, someone like Beyoncé.
