We’ve all been seeing social media posts, and getting phone calls and text messages about not forgetting to vote by Election Day, next Tuesday, well a Florida woman must have been tired of getting all of these voting updates that she stopped while in labor to make her voice heard. On Tuesday at around 2:30 p.m. a man went into the Elections Supervisor’s office and asked for a ballot and when he was asked for his ID he said that he already voted and the ballot he was requesting was for his wife who couldn’t come inside because she was in labor and refused to go to the hospital until she voted.
When the employee brought it out to her and told her to mail it back by election day, the woman said no she’d fill it out on the spot… which is something the employee said she’d never seen before. The office is planning to send a couple custom onesies to the new mother, no word on the health of mother and baby after delivery.
