The 2020 election is a week away, and Uber and Lyft want to make sure that everyone who is able gets out and makes their voice heard. The ride sharing companies announced that they are giving up to 50% off rides to and from polling locations for the 2020 Presidential Election. According to a Harvard study, about 14% of eligible voters don’t because of a lack of transportation.

Uber will have a feature in their app to help find your polling location and will give you 50% off a ride to your polling place, up to $7 each way. Lyft will have free and discounted rides, up to $10 to a polling location when you use the code 2020Vote in the app.
