Last March Director, Morgan Cooper, put together a trailer for Bel-Air which was a dramatic spin on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air which first aired almost 30 years ago and launched the career of, Will Smith onto YouTube. The trailer got over two million views and now Will Smith, Benny Medina and Quincy Jones are teaming up with Cooper to reboot the show, as a drama and it is currently being shopped around to major streaming networks.
The Hollywood Reporter is saying that the show has been in the works for over a year, and is based off the original show of Will getting trouble in Philadelphia and being sent to live with his uncle in Bel-Air.
