Many people in the black community have been wondering why Kanye West had been so silent while peacful protests as well as looting and rioting have taken place following the killings of; Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Well TMZ has found out the answer to those questions, not only did Kanye West join a peaceful protest with students from Chicago Public Schools, he literally put his money where his mouth was. West has donated $2 million to the legal teams of Arbery, Taylor and Floyd, in addition to that he also set up a 529 college savings fund to cover the tuition of Floud’s six-year-old daughter, Gianna.
No matter how you feel about Kanye, his actions or his political beliefs this is an awesome gesture, which will hopefully help bring jusice.
