Not sure what was happening with Waka Flocka over the long weekend, but on Monday night he took to Twitter to announce that he was dedicating his life to Suicide Prevention and Mental Ilness. According to The Source, his brother, rapper KayO Redd, committed suicide in December of 2013. I looked up his brother’s Wikipedia and his birthday would have been, June 1st so it’s possible that he just had his brother on his mind over the holiday weekend.

I’m officially dedicating my life to suicide prevention and mental illness!!! Y’all not alone Waka Flocka Flame is with y’all now!!!!

No matter what the reasoning, it’s always awesome when someone dedicates their lives to something bigger than themselves, props to Flocka for doing this.
