Everyone is debating on when things all over the world should go back to normal after the COVID-19 pandemic has essentially shut down the world. President Trump announced that states could decide on their own when to lift restrictions. Jacksonville’s mayor, Lenny Curry, is opening up Duval County beaches at 5:00 p.m. today, for essential activities only, which he says will be the “beginning of the pathway back to normal life.” This opens the beaches for walking, swimming, surfing, fishing and running as long as social distance guidelines are followed.
No lifeguards will be present, and sunbathing, camping and gatherings of over 50 people are not allowed. Do you think it’s too early or is it time to start getting back to normal?
