Looks like Rob Growkowski’s NFL career is actually over, a lot of people expected that he was going to return to the NFL before the end of this season, but didn’t happen and it’s looking like it never will. Last night on WWE’s WWE Backstage show on FS1 it was announced that the former Patriots Tight End was close to signing with the wrestling promotion.

Rumors today are that he has officially signed and is expected to debut on SmackDown ON FOX on Friday March 20th, as well as making an appearance at WrestleMania in April. Those reports haven’t been confirmed by WWE or Gronk so far.
