Okay, well you have our attention. What is this all about? Here’s the info from Vanity Fair:
Jaden Smith has always kept a healthy distance from the concept of reality, but his next project is taking things a step even further. According to Variety, the artist and former Twitter philosopher will play a young, alternate reality version of Kanye West in the upcoming Showtime series Omniverse.
The limited half-hour anthology series will apparently examine “the many doors of perception,” Variety notes. Which . . . ? O.K.! Showtime has ordered a script for the series, which will be written and executive produced by Lee Sung Jin (Tuca & Bertie, Silicon Valley) and presumably can only be read if your third eye is open. West’s longtime manager Scooter Braun will also executive produce, along with James Shin and Scott Manson.
I mean — I guess I see the resemblance?
