Without a doubt the man of the hour is Compton native, Kendrick Lamar. With the release of his debut album, "good boy m.A.A.d. city" every one is tweeting lyrics from the their favorite tracks off the album. Honestly within 3 minutes of poping the plastic off the casing of the CD I proclaimed this to be a classic Hip-Hop album. Lamar thinks so too telling Complex Magazine "Once it gets a few years behind it they'll be looking back saying 'Yeah, Kendrick Lamar made a classic his first album."
I agree there are very little debut albums from newcomers nowadays that you can legitimately call a classic album. With the help of Drake, Dre, and Mary J. Bilge this album is quite mellow and chill. My favorite track is "Poetic Justice" sampling Janet Jackson's 1994 hit “Any Time, Any Place. Lamar and Drake use metaphor in this song that make you want to stop the record and replay it again just so you can catch what was said clearly.

Rumors spread earlier in the year that Lady GaGa would make an apperance on the album but it doesn't look like she mad the final cut. If you want you daily dose of real hip hop head out and pick up Kendrick Lamar's, "good boy m.A.A.d. city" trust me you won't be disappointed. After the jump check out 'Poetic Justice" featuring Drake
