"It’s like child’s play, and… that’s how ‘Anything Can Happen’ started.” - Ellie Goulding
Ty Polo Artist of the Week: Ellie Goulding

UK singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding has been gleaming the charts with her single “Lights” now sitting at No. 2 on the Hot 100. Surprising many including her song was offered as a bonus track on her debut album Lights released in 2010.
Now with the release of her second album Halcyon due out October 9th, Goulding is preparing for warm her fans up to the lead single “Anything Could Happen.” Goulding expressed that there was no big board meeting in creating this song along with producer Jim Elliot. “This was fun because Jim’s a really experienced, clever producer, but he acts like a child, like me. We’re both like little kids just wanting to create sounds, like ‘Oh that sounds cool’ and ‘let’s see what happens when we do this! It’s like child’s play, and… that’s how ‘Anything Can Happen’ started.”
All in all expect to hear great things coming from the 25-year-old. One of my favorite tracks from her is a cover of Toronto native The Weeknds song “High for This.” Goulding’s version was revamp by my good friend DJ Xlusive Lee aka Xaphoon Jones from international recording group Chiddy Bang. Take a listen to both!
