Darren

Growing up in the bayou’s of Southern Louisiana…Darren quickly found that while he wasn’t born a bayou Cajun, he loved those goofy drunk bastards. It was at the tender age of 7 when this fact truly hit home. Coming home from school, on a sunny Tuesday afternoon, to find that his mother released his pet beaver back to the wild. It wasn’t until years later that Darren learned that “Plushy” the furry beaver was actually a nutria rat (do a google image search if you’re not familiar). Shortly there after… Jefferson Parish Sheriff “Harry Lee” made the executive decision that the perfect way to control the nutria population was to release the swat team into the medians with shotguns. This was entertainment that Darren had never seen before and quickly knew New Orleans would be home. With Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Bourbon Street and Drive-Thru Daiquiri stand’s… they live the official motto: Les Le Bon Ton Roule “Let The Good Times Roll”! Now it’s time to do the same in Knoxville.

Having also lived in Birmingham, Richmond, Panama City and Tallahassee… this is Darren’s second stop in Knoxville. “ It’s my intent to take full advantage of the Smokies this time around and maybe work from time to time too”.
